Will the Rascal Vista DX suit you?
The Rascal Vista DX is for people who stay out all day. Its 50 Ah batteries give up to 34.5 miles, enough for a long day out, and the Captain's seat is made for hours of sitting. It is a medium-sized pavement model, yet a quick release lets it come apart for the car, and the battery pack splits in two to share the load. Suspension all round, LED lights and tiller charging make daily use easy. Riders of up to 22 stone are catered for.

The Rascal Vista DX in detail
All-day range in a scooter that still goes in the car. Electric Mobility's Vista DX takes the mid-size Rascal Vista and fits larger 50 Ah batteries and a Captain's seat, for people who want longer days out with family and friends.

Charging
The charging socket is up on the tiller where it is easy to reach. If the scooter lives in a garage, the batteries can also be lifted out and charged indoors.
Size, tyres and colours
Slim but strongly built, the DX has plenty of legroom and turns well for a scooter of its size. Tyres can be solid and puncture proof, or pneumatic, and there are two colours to pick from. We would rather you sat on one than read about it, so visit a ScootaMart showroom in the North West. Servicing and repairs are carried out by our engineers, in store or at your home.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
