Will the Rascal Vista suit you?
Medium in size, made for pavements, and it breaks down into six sections for the car. The Rascal Vista is slim but sturdy, with good legroom, suspension all round and a seat that swivels to help you on and off. With 35 Ah batteries on board the range is up to 24 miles, several days of local trips for many riders, and they can be charged through the tiller or lifted out and charged indoors. The battery pack splits in two for lifting, and the scooter takes riders of up to 23 stone.

The Rascal Vista in detail
Big enough for every day, and it still comes apart for the boot. With the Rascal Vista, Electric Mobility offers a mid-size scooter for pavement use whose quick release separates it into six sections you can lift one at a time.

Controls and charging
The delta tiller can be held in whichever position is comfortable, and the charging socket sits on the tiller so there is no bending down. The batteries can also come off the scooter to be charged in the house.
Tyres, colours and size
You can have solid puncture-proof tyres or pneumatic ones, and there are two colours. The slim body leaves generous legroom and turns neatly, so it copes with daily use around town. Our showrooms in the North West can show you how the six sections come apart, and we take scooters in part exchange.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
