Will the Rascal Ryley Seat Lift suit you?
Choose this one if you want a narrow powerchair that also raises you up. This Ryley measures 61 cm across, slim enough for ordinary doorways, and its column lift brings the seat up by 7.5 inches, to 75 cm from the floor. That is handy for cupboards, shop counters and talking face to face. Mid-wheel drive turns it in little space, full suspension softens the pavements outside, and it takes riders up to 21 st 5 lb for as far as 16.3 miles per charge.

The Rascal Ryley Seat Lift in detail
A slim powerchair with a rising seat. Electric Mobility took the mid-wheel drive Ryley and placed a column lift beneath its captain's seat, giving 7.5 inches of rise, so a chair that slips through tight spaces can also bring you up to 75 cm (29.5 inches) from the floor.

Controls and getting seated
The joystick adjusts for height and swings out of the way, which helps when pulling up to a table. The charging port is on the joystick itself, so there is no bending down to plug in. Both armrests flip up and adjust, the footplate flips up too, and the captain's seat can be set to fit.
Colours and support
Colours are Green Lightning and Orange Sunset. We cover the chair with a 12-month warranty looked after by our own engineers, who work from our North West showrooms and can also visit you at home.

Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
