Will the Rascal Rivco suit you?
The Rivco is for riders who need a stronger, roomier powerchair. It is rated to 32 stone, with a cushioned captain's seat and durable full suspension to match. Mid-wheel drive keeps it nimble for its size, so it copes with the living room as well as the high street, and it handles kerbs of 5 cm. Large 55Ah batteries mean up to 18.8 miles between charges.
Come and try the controls and the turning indoors; we set the seat and controls up for you. Bring the measurement of your narrowest doorway and we will check it against the chair's 70 cm width. Call ahead so the model is ready to try.

Heavy-duty need not mean hard to steer. Rascal's Rivco carries up to 204 kg (32 stone), yet it drives from its centre wheels, so it turns in a modest space whether you are in the kitchen or out on the pavement.

Size and colours
The Rivco is 110 cm long and 70 cm wide, a sensible footprint for a chair of this strength. Blue Moon and Orange Sunset are the colour choices. If you are unsure whether it will suit your home, bring a few door and hallway measurements and we will go through them together.
Others in the family
There is a Rivco Seat Lift if you would like a rising seat, and the slimmer Ryley for tighter homes. Trying them back to back is the quickest way to choose, and you can do that at our North West showrooms. Whichever you pick, it carries a 12-month warranty looked after by our own engineers.

Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
