The Q400 M is a steady, confidence-building powerchair for everyday use at home and around the neighbourhood. Mid-wheel drive turns on the spot, which makes kitchens, hallways and shop aisles simple, and the 4 mph top speed keeps it at pavement pace. Two 80 Ah batteries give up to 24 miles between charges, so most people will not need to charge every night. Sedeo Lite seating adjusts in many ways to suit the rider.
The chair is specified to the person, starting with an assessment at one of our showrooms, where you can try the controls and turning indoors. Call ahead so a suitable chair is ready to try.

Pavement pace, long legs. Quickie's Q400 M combines a mid-wheel drive base with Sedeo Lite seating that adjusts in many directions, giving a chair that feels secure to drive and keeps going all day.

Indoors and out
The Q400 M is designed to be at home in both settings. Indoors, the central drive wheels let it pivot in tight rooms. Outdoors, it manoeuvres well around street furniture, dropped kerbs and busy pavements, and the large batteries mean range is rarely a concern.
Seating and controls
Sedeo Lite seating adjusts in several directions so the fit can be fine-tuned, and Quickie's advanced controls are matched to the rider. We do this during a free assessment at our North West showrooms. If you have a chair already, part exchange is available in store.

Faster than 4 mph
Using the Q400 M Sedeo Lite on the road
Anything that goes above 4 mph is a class 3 vehicle. You do not need a driving licence, and there is no vehicle tax to pay. The rules are short:
- It must be registered with the DVLA. Registration is free, and we complete it for you when you buy.
- You must be 14 or over to drive it.
- Keep to 4 mph on pavements and in pedestrian areas. The higher speed is for the road only.
- Not on motorways, in bus lanes or in cycle lanes, and avoid dual carriageways with a limit over 50 mph.
- Insurance is not a legal requirement, but it is strongly recommended.

Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
