Will the Quickie Q100R suit you?
The Q100R is a compact rear-wheel drive powerchair for someone who wants one chair for the house and the high street. The base is only 54 cm wide and about a metre long, so it fits narrow doors and through-floor lifts, and it swings round in a hallway. Outside it will mount a 10 cm kerb and runs for up to 19 miles per charge at 4 mph.

The Quickie Q100R in detail
Small enough for the hallway, steady enough for the street. Sunrise Medical tried a great many base layouts before settling on the Q100R's dimensions, looking for the point where a powerchair is nimble indoors yet planted outside.
What you get
- A base just 540 mm wide and 1010 mm long, which suits tight doorways and through-floor lifts
- Rear-wheel drive that mounts kerbs as high as 100 mm (4 inches)

Seating that changes with you
The seat adjusts between 430 and 480 mm wide, or down to 380 mm with an optional kit, and between 405 and 510 mm deep. The backrest sets at 0, 4, 8 or 12 degrees and the seat angle at 0, 3 or 6 degrees. Armrest height runs from 230 to 305 mm, and the five-strap back can be tensioned to support your posture.
Try it where it matters
Tight turns are easier to judge in person than on paper. In our North West showrooms you can steer the Q100R between displays and through a doorway, and we will set the seat up while you are with us.

Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
