Will the eTravel suit you?
The eTravel is a small, simple scooter for short trips and days out by car: the shops, the garden centre, a stroll along the prom. It comes apart for the boot and the heaviest piece weighs 15 kg, about the same as a packed holiday suitcase. It takes riders up to 21 stone and covers up to 7.5 miles between charges. Charging is off-board, so the batteries can come indoors while the scooter stays in the car or the shed.
Bring the car to the showroom and we will check every piece fits the boot before you buy, and you can try the lifting yourself. Call ahead so the eTravel is ready to try.

The eTravel in detail
Small scooter, generous weight limit. Part of Motion's Essentials range, the eTravel is a compact take-apart model only 102 cm long and 49 cm wide, yet it is rated for riders of up to 21 stone (136 kg).

In the car and at home
With the seat folded and the scooter split into its parts, the eTravel asks for very little boot space, and it stores just as neatly in a hallway or under the stairs. Fully built it stands 92 cm tall, and its narrow 49 cm width is a help in shop aisles and doorways.
Looking after it
Your eTravel carries a 12-month warranty looked after by our own engineers, and if you have an older scooter to move on, part exchange is available at our North West showrooms.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
