Will the Airium suit you?
The Airium gives you the seat, wheels and range of a proper pavement scooter in a package that still goes in the car. An aluminium frame and lithium battery keep the weight down: it separates into four pieces and the heaviest is 13 kg. It travels at 4 mph, covers up to 25 miles per charge and carries riders up to 21 stone, with suspension all round and puncture-proof tyres for everyday pavements.

The Airium in detail
Pavement comfort, car boot weight. Motion builds the Airium on an aluminium chassis, powers it with a lithium battery and bills it as the lightest scooter of its kind sold in Britain.

Made for longer outings
A 250W motor, a delta handlebar you can steer with either hand and a wider padded seat all earn their keep on a long afternoon out. The soft tyre compound and bigger wheels help to smooth out paving joints and dropped kerbs.
One scooter for home and away
Many people find themselves choosing between a comfortable pavement scooter and one that travels. The Airium does both jobs. Use it daily from the front door, then lift it into the car for weekends away. Try the dismantling for yourself at our showrooms in the North West, where part exchange on your current scooter is available in store.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
