Will the Aerolite suit you?
The Aerolite is a light folding chair for people who travel now and then: nimble indoors, and happy on pavements and in shops. It folds with one push or pull, much like a pram, and weighs 20.5 kg with its battery (18 kg without). The single lithium battery charges off the chair and is a size many airlines accept, but always check with your airline before you book. It travels at 4 mph for up to 9 miles and takes riders up to 18 stone.

The Aerolite in detail
Fold it like a pram, take it almost anywhere. Motion kept the Aerolite deliberately simple: one lithium battery, one folding action and a frame of just 18 kg, or 20.5 kg with the battery fitted.

One battery, less fuss
The battery has a charging socket of its own, so it can be lifted off and charged indoors while the chair stays in the car. Lithium is lighter than a traditional sealed lead acid battery, charges faster and lasts longer.
Where it fits in
The Aerolite is aimed at people who want a chair for outings and holidays as much as for daily use. It turns tightly indoors, copes with pavements and shopping centres, and folds away in a hallway between trips.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
