The frame weighs 10.26 kg without the battery and cushion, and the lithium battery adds only 1.6 kg, so loading it into a car is a manageable lift. It carries riders up to 18 stone 10 lb, covers up to 9.3 miles a charge at up to 4 mph, and at 565 mm wide it suits ordinary doorways.
Come and try the controls and the turning indoors at a showroom, and we will set the seat and controls up for you. Bring the car and we will check the folded chair fits the boot. Please call ahead so the model is ready to try.

Ten kilos and a bit. That is what the Pride Jazzy Swift weighs with the battery and cushion taken off, which makes this folding powerchair one of the easiest to lift into a car or carry up a step.

Size
Overall length is 800 mm and overall width 565 mm. Those compact measurements help in busy streets, shopping centres and airport terminals, and mean it takes up little room when stored.
Battery
Power comes from a 10 Ah lithium battery weighing just 1.6 kg. Many airlines accept a battery this size, so check with yours before booking a holiday, and it is light to carry indoors for charging.
Controls
The controls are simple to learn. Try them indoors at our North West showrooms, where staff will adjust the chair to you, and our own engineers look after the 12-month warranty.

Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
