Will the GoGo Mg2 suit you?
Pride made the GoGo Mg2 for people who travel. The folding magnesium frame weighs 14.7 kg before the battery goes in, and the standard lithium battery adds only 1.7 kg. Folded, it measures 40 x 18 x 16.5 inches, so it slides into a car boot or stands in a corner at home. It does 4 mph on solid tyres that cannot puncture, covers around 10 km on the standard battery and takes riders up to 19 stone 6 lb.
Bring the car and we will check it fits the boot before you buy. A larger 20Ah battery is there if you want twice the distance. Call ahead so the model is ready to try.

The GoGo Mg2 in detail
Magnesium is the secret. By making the frame from it, Pride has brought the GoGo Mg2 down to 14.7 kg without its battery, which makes folding it up and lifting it into a boot far more manageable.

Comfort and controls
The seat is padded and the armrests adjust to suit you. The controls are kept simple, so they are quick to learn. An LED light at the front and reflectors at the back help others see you.
Brakes and extras
Two braking systems work together: regenerative electronic braking slows the scooter, and a disc brake holds it firmly when parked. Pride offers optional add-ons such as a cup holder and extra storage. It is measured at 40 inches long and under 17 inches wide, so tight shop aisles are no obstacle. Come and practise the fold at one of our North West showrooms, where our engineers look after the 12-month warranty.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
