Will the Alumina Pro suit you?
The Alumina Pro is for someone who needs every lift to be light but does not want to keep an eye on the battery gauge. Taken apart, no piece weighs more than 9.98 kg, much the same as a full cabin bag, and the lithium battery is only 5 kg to carry indoors. That battery can give up to 30 miles. All-round suspension and a long, flat floor make it comfortable for taller riders too.

The Alumina Pro in detail
Long range, light lifts. Motion's Alumina Pro matches a large-capacity lithium pack to a frame that strips down to pieces under 10 kg. It is a 4 mph boot scooter for people who want a whole day out from one charge.

Packing it into the car
The seat, the basket and the rear motor section all lift away, and none of it needs a tool. What is left to lift is light enough that loading the boot becomes a quick, routine job. Staff in our showrooms can take one apart in front of you, then hand you each piece to try.
Room and ride
The floor is long and flat, which gives taller riders space to stretch their legs, and the seat is larger than you usually find on a boot scooter. The swivel seat turns to meet you, so there is no awkward twisting when getting on or off. With 5 cm of ground clearance, dropped kerbs are taken smoothly. Your 12-month warranty is looked after by ScootaMart's own engineers.

Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
