The lightest powerchair Drive DeVilbiss makes, at just 12 kg. That makes it a natural choice for anyone who needs a chair lifted in and out of a car regularly, or wants one to take on holiday. It folds easily for the boot, its lithium battery comes off to charge indoors, and an attendant control can be added so a companion can drive from behind.
Come and try the controls and the turning indoors at a showroom, where we set the seat and controls up for you. Bring the car as well and we will check the folded chair fits your boot. Please call ahead so the model is ready to try.

Controls and comfort
The AeroCarbon is designed to be simple to steer, with intuitive controls and a modern, uncluttered look. If the rider would sooner be driven, the attendant control puts a second set of controls within a companion's reach.
Travel
Low weight and a folding frame make it a practical chair for holidays, hospital visits and family days out, and if you plan to fly, have a word with your airline about the battery before you book.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
