Will the Photon HD suit you?
A folding powerchair for riders who want more room. The Photon HD gives you a seat that is wider and deeper, thicker cushions and broader armrests, all on a reinforced carbon fibre frame that carries up to 31 st 7 lb. It still folds for the car like the smaller Photons, and the larger battery gives up to 13.5 miles a charge. The digital joystick also shows battery level and sets the speed.
Come and try the controls and the turning indoors at a showroom, where we set the seat and joystick up for you. Bring the car and we will check it fits the boot. Please call ahead so the model is ready to try.

The Photon HD in detail
More room, more support, same easy fold. Motion's Photon HD is the heavy-duty member of the Photon family, a carbon fibre powerchair sized for bigger riders and for anyone who simply likes a roomier seat.

Controls
The digital joystick responds smoothly and precisely, which makes tight spots such as shop doorways and kitchen corners easier to manage. Battery level, speed adjustment and the horn all sit on the same control, so everything is under one hand.
Folding and travel
Extra size has not made it awkward. The HD folds down for the car or for storage at home, ready for the next outing.
Try it first
Seat width and comfort are personal, so sit in one before choosing. At our North West showrooms you can drive it indoors, and our own engineers look after the 12-month warranty.

Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
