Will the Lithilite suit you?
Suits someone who wants a comfortable scooter for town and days out, but needs it to travel by car. The Lithilite comes apart into five pieces by hand, the heaviest 15 kg, and its lithium battery lasts up to 15 miles. At only 4 kg, the battery box is easy to carry indoors for charging. Front and rear suspension and a swivel seat keep things comfortable, and it carries up to 18 stone.
Visit a showroom with the car and we will load the Lithilite into your boot to check the fit before you commit. If you expect longer trips, ask to see the Pro version alongside it. Call ahead so one is ready to try.

The Lithilite in detail
Lithium power in a take-apart scooter. Motion designed the Lithilite for days out by car: a light frame, a battery you can carry in one hand and a softer ride than you might expect from something this portable.

Taking it apart
No spanners are needed. The seat lifts off, the battery box comes out, the front basket comes away and the frame separates into a front and a rear section. Each part is a sensible size for lifting into a boot, and it goes back together the same way in reverse.
A softer ride
Suspension at both ends soaks up cracked paving and cobbles, and the low-backed seat swivels so you can sit down from the side. Tiller and seat both adjust, so riders of different builds can find a relaxed position.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
