Will the GoGo Mg Lite suit you?
About as light as a mobility scooter gets. The folding frame is made of magnesium and weighs just 12 kg, so lifting it into the car is realistic for many people who could not manage a heavier scooter. It folds to suit most car boots, has a 4 mph top speed, and runs on 11 Ah lithium batteries. Many airlines accept them, but check with yours before booking. The seat lifts off with a quick release.
Bring your car and we will fold it and check it fits your boot before you buy. Lifting it yourself in the showroom is the best test of all. Please call ahead so the model is ready to try.

Magnesium is the secret here. By building the folding frame of the GoGo Mg Lite from this strong, very light metal, Pride brought the weight down to 12 kg, which puts it among the lightest mobility scooters you can choose.

Seat and comfort
The seat is light too, and lifts off with a quick release to make the scooter easier still to load. Armrests adjust to suit the rider.
Where it fits in
Owners use it for everyday errands, days out by car and holidays, including airports. Some pick it as a simpler alternative to a portable powerchair, since it packs away in much the same space.
Try the lift
Weight on paper only tells you so much. Visit one of our North West showrooms, fold it and lift it for yourself. Our own engineers look after the 12-month warranty, and part exchange is available in store.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
Can I get it on the Motability Scheme?
Yes, this model is available through the Scheme. If you receive a qualifying mobility allowance you can use it to lease this instead of buying, with insurance, servicing and breakdown cover included. Sign up in any showroom or call us.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
