Will the Alber e-fix E35 Power Assist suit you?
If pushing your manual wheelchair has become tiring, the e-fix E35 lets you carry on using the same chair with electric drive and a joystick. It is a neat, light conversion, so the chair still turns easily in a kitchen or lift and still travels well by car. The joystick shows how much battery remains, and a phone app adds trip details.

Going further
An optional long-range lithium-ion pack weighs only 2 kg and gives up to 20 km, roughly 12 miles. A chargeable speed upgrade lifts the standard 6 km/h where the law allows.
Navigation
The optional easyNavi system links to your smartphone and plans routes suited to wheelchairs. It can import GPX routes and uses OpenStreetMap. It forms part of the Mobility Plus Pack, a licence that activates all the app's features on an internet-connected phone.
