Will the XS Aluminium Self Propelled suit you?
This is the self-propel version of Drive's XS, with 24 inch quick-release rear wheels you push yourself. It suits an active user who wants a chair that packs down small: with wheels, arms and footrests off, the carry weight is under 9 kg. It comes in blue or red with cushions included.
An 18 inch seat is standard and a 20 inch seat is offered in red. Come and try the width, the reach to the handrims and the brakes in a showroom, and practise removing the wheels. Let us know you are coming and we will have one ready to try.

A self-propelled chair that comes apart for travel. The XS Aluminium pairs a sturdy, brightly coloured frame with quick-release parts and comfort features fitted as standard.

Seat sizes
The standard seat is 18 inches wide. A 20 inch seat is available on the red frame. Seat depth is 17 inches on both.
Storing and travelling
The frame folds with a simple action and the top of the backrest folds down. Take off the wheels, arms and footrests and you have several light pieces that are simple to stow.
Kerbs and steadiness
The rear stepper tubes carry anti-tip wheels whose height can be altered, so an independent user or a helper can climb a kerb with confidence.
