Made for life outdoors, the Storm 4 X-Plore is a front-wheel drive powerchair with suspension on all four wheels. Each spring can be set for the rider, so park paths, cobbles and dropped kerbs feel calmer. It reaches up to 8 mph and covers up to 23 miles between charges. The Modulite seat adjusts in width from 380 to 530 mm.
This is a prescription chair, so it starts with an assessment at one of our showrooms, where seating and controls are chosen around you. We handle the DVLA form for road use. Call ahead so a chair is ready to try.

The Storm 4 X-Plore in detail
Four springs, four shock absorbers, one settled ride. Invacare took its Storm 4 outdoor powerchair and gave every wheel its own adjustable suspension. The chair keeps its grip on rough ground, and the rider stays comfortable on longer trips.

Seating made to fit
The Modulite seat can be set anywhere between 380 mm and 530 mm wide, so one frame is tailored to many different builds, and a Recaro seat is offered as an alternative. We settle those details at your assessment in one of our North West showrooms.
Controls and upkeep
LiNX electronics are programmed wirelessly, so changes to speed and response are made while you sit in the chair. The REM400 remote adds a 3.5 inch colour touchscreen that needs very little pressure, plus Bluetooth for up to three devices. Batteries and electronics are simple to reach, which keeps servicing by our engineers straightforward.

Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
