Will the Compact suit you?
The Compact is a small, light powerchair for tight spaces: narrow hallways, busy shops and cafes. Top speed is 4 mph, it covers up to 8 miles per charge and carries up to 18 stone. The seat adjusts for height and swivels to help you get on and off, and the armrests adjust for width. For the car it splits into four pieces, with a folding backrest, a lift-off seat and a handle for carrying the back section.

The Compact in detail
Small chair, simple controls. Light and quick to take apart for the car, the S-Mart Compact runs on a LiNX controller, which can be programmed to suit the person using it.

Easy to drive
The Dynamic LiNX system keeps driving straightforward, and because it is programmable the chair's response can be tailored to you. The short, narrow base threads through doorways, shop aisles and crowded rooms, indoors or out. A de-clutch lever puts the chair into freewheel, so it can be pushed by hand when that is more convenient.
Getting on and off
Turn the seat to face you, sit down, then swivel back to the joystick. With the armrests set to your width, the chair feels made to measure.

Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
