Will the Roma Marbella suit you?
The Marbella suits someone who wants a solid powerchair with a long range that can still travel by car when needed. Two 50Ah batteries take it up to 25 miles at up to 4 mph. Indoors, a 58 cm turning radius helps in hallways and kitchens. For transport, the batteries and footrests lift off and the backrest folds down; the heaviest part is 38 kg.
Come and try the controls and the turning indoors, and we will set the seat and controls up for you. Bring the car too, so we can check how it loads. Call ahead so the model is ready to try.

The Roma Marbella in detail

Seating that adjusts to you
The angle of the seat and the angle of the backrest can both be changed, and the armrests move for height and for width. Getting these settings right makes a real difference over a long day, and it is something our showroom staff will do with you in person.
Taking it in the car
The Marbella weighs 80 kg complete, and it is designed to come apart. The batteries and footrests detach and the backrest folds down, leaving a heaviest part of 38 kg. It is a quick routine once you have done it a couple of times. Servicing and repairs are handled by our own North West engineers, in store or at home.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
