Will the Rascal Vision suit you?
The Rascal Vision is a Class 3 road scooter with a 32 stone weight limit, so it suits bigger riders who want a modern-looking machine. All-round suspension steadies it over mixed surfaces, the padded captain seat has extra lumbar support and swivels, and a full lighting set covers evening trips. A charge covers up to 28 miles with a top speed of 8 mph, and the tiller has a 12V socket.
It is road legal, and we handle the DVLA paperwork when you buy. Call ahead so one is ready to try at a showroom.

Strong where it counts and smart to look at. Electric Mobility's Rascal Vision carries riders of up to 32 stone, yet it has the clean lines and thoughtful details of a much smaller scooter.

Comfort for long days
The Vision is meant for all-day use. Its seat supports the lower back, the delta handlebars give the tiller a modern feel, and the suspension absorbs rough patches before they reach you. That 12V socket is handy for powering accessories on the move.
Come and sit on one
Seat comfort is personal, so it helps to try the Vision for size. At our North West showrooms we can adjust it to you and explain how a Class 3 scooter is used on the road. Afterwards our own engineers look after servicing and repairs, and part exchange is available in store. It comes with two keys.

Faster than 4 mph
Using the Rascal Vision on the road
Anything that goes above 4 mph is a class 3 vehicle. You do not need a driving licence, and there is no vehicle tax to pay. The rules are short:
- It must be registered with the DVLA. Registration is free, and we complete it for you when you buy.
- You must be 14 or over to drive it.
- Keep to 4 mph on pavements and in pedestrian areas. The higher speed is for the road only.
- Not on motorways, in bus lanes or in cycle lanes, and avoid dual carriageways with a limit over 50 mph.
- Insurance is not a legal requirement, but it is strongly recommended.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No driving licence and no vehicle tax. Because it goes faster than 4 mph it must be registered with the DVLA, which is free, and we complete that for you when you buy. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
Can I get it on the Motability Scheme?
Yes, this model is available through the Scheme. If you receive a qualifying mobility allowance you can use it to lease this instead of buying, with insurance, servicing and breakdown cover included. Sign up in any showroom or call us.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
