Will the Rascal Veo Sport SR suit you?
The Veo Sport SR suits someone who wants a car-boot scooter with a bit more polish. It has suspension, a padded tiller and a stitched swivel seat, and it comes apart for the boot with a 20 kg heaviest piece, about a packed suitcase. Twin batteries can give up to 14 miles, and they charge off the scooter, so it can stay in the car, garage or shed.

A boot scooter with suspension and a bit of flair. Electric Mobility gave the Rascal Veo Sport SR racing-style stripes, a stitched seat and a properly cushioned ride, then made sure it still splits down for the car. Top speed is 4 mph.

Charging where it suits you
The batteries can be charged away from the scooter. Bring them indoors overnight and leave the scooter in the car, garage or shed, which saves finding floor space for it in the house.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
Can I get it on the Motability Scheme?
Yes, this model is available through the Scheme. If you receive a qualifying mobility allowance you can use it to lease this instead of buying, with insurance, servicing and breakdown cover included. Sign up in any showroom or call us.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
