Will the Quickie Q200R suit you?
The Q200R is the outdoor-minded sibling in the Quickie family. It is still compact, at 58 cm across and turning within 170 cm, and copes with the house, buses and trams. Bigger wheels and drive-wheel suspension steady it on rough paths, hills up to 8 degrees and 10 cm kerbs. It carries riders up to 136 kg, about 21 stone, for up to 19 miles.
Visit a showroom to try the controls and turning indoors, with seat and joystick set up for you. Bring the car and we will look at how it travels. Call ahead so one is ready to try.

The Quickie Q200R in detail
Compact on paper, confident outdoors. With the Q200R, Sunrise Medical stretched its small indoor and outdoor base to 1070 mm and fitted larger wheels. Taller and heavier riders gain stability, and the tight turning stays.

Taking it with you
The chair weighs 98 kg. Its back folds fully down and the legrests and armrests lift off, so it can be hoisted into many cars or tucked away at home. It is also compact and agile enough for buses, trams and trains.
Set up in person
Rear-wheel drive and a joystick take a few minutes to get used to, and a showroom floor is the place to do it. At our North West showrooms we adjust the seat and controller to you, and our own engineers carry out servicing and repairs afterwards. A lap belt is included.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
