The Q1450 is a heavy-duty powerchair base from Quantum, designed for larger riders who want a chair that copes outdoors and still gets around the house. It is built to bariatric strength, runs on two 70 Ah batteries for up to 12.2 miles, and travels at up to 4 mph on puncture-proof tyres. Seating and electronics are chosen from a full rehab range, so the chair is built to fit the person.
It begins with an assessment at a showroom, where we plan the seat and controls around you. Call ahead so a suitable chair is ready to try.

It accepts the full Quantum catalogue of rehab seats and electronic controls, so seat size, support and the style of control are all picked to suit the rider. That work is done at a free assessment, where we measure, talk through daily routines and try different set-ups.

Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
