Will the Edge 3 suit you?
The Edge 3 is for someone who is out most days and wants comfort over distance. It covers up to 32 miles on a charge, reaches 6 mph, and its mid-wheel drive spins on the spot in kitchens and lifts. Pride's Smooth Ride Suspension softens rough pavements, and the captain seat adjusts for height and angle. LED lights and a USB charging point come as standard, with 14 colours offered.

Eight years of refinement in one chair. Pride's Edge 3 builds on its predecessors with upgraded suspension, a long range and a list of everyday touches that come as standard.

Optional iLevel seat lift
Add iLevel and the seat rises by up to 12 inches under power, about 30 cm. The chair can keep travelling at up to 4.5 mph while raised, so you stay at eye level as you move through a shop or along the street.

Faster than 4 mph
Using the Edge 3 on the road
Anything that goes above 4 mph is a class 3 vehicle. You do not need a driving licence, and there is no vehicle tax to pay. The rules are short:
- It must be registered with the DVLA. Registration is free, and we complete it for you when you buy.
- You must be 14 or over to drive it.
- Keep to 4 mph on pavements and in pedestrian areas. The higher speed is for the road only.
- Not on motorways, in bus lanes or in cycle lanes, and avoid dual carriageways with a limit over 50 mph.
- Insurance is not a legal requirement, but it is strongly recommended.

Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
