Will the Mini Comfort suit you?
The Mini Comfort is for people who want a boot scooter that still rides like something bigger. All-round suspension and solid tyres that cannot puncture make pavements and precincts comfortable, and a charge lasts up to 16 miles at its 4 mph top speed. It comes apart without tools in minutes, the battery box charges indoors, and it carries riders up to 20 stone.
Bring your car to the showroom and we will check the parts fit your boot before you buy. The heaviest is about 19.5 kg, so try lifting it too. Call ahead so one is ready to try.

The Mini Comfort in detail
Small scooter, grown-up ride. Kymco gave the Mini Comfort all-round suspension, solid tyres and a seat that turns full circle, then made the whole thing come apart for the car boot.

Charging and storage
The battery box lifts out, so the batteries can charge in the house while the scooter stays in the boot, the shed or the garage. With two 22 Ah batteries on board, a day of errands is well within reach on one charge.
Getting on and off
Turn the seat to face the side, sit down, then swing round to face the handlebars. It is a simple thing that makes a real difference in tight spots such as a hallway or beside a car door.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
Can I get it on the Motability Scheme?
Yes, this model is available through the Scheme. If you receive a qualifying mobility allowance you can use it to lease this instead of buying, with insurance, servicing and breakdown cover included. Sign up in any showroom or call us.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
