Will the AutoFold Pro suit you?
A very light folding scooter for smooth ground: shopping centres, level pavements, promenades and indoors. Folded, it measures about 29 x 46 x 64 cm, roughly the size of a medium suitcase, so it fits a small boot or a cupboard under the stairs. Rear suspension and a padded seat and backrest keep it comfortable, the brakes apply automatically when you release the control, and it runs on two lithium batteries.
Bring your car and we will fold it and check it fits the boot before you buy. You can try folding and lifting it yourself while you are here. Please call ahead so the model is ready to try.

The AutoFold Pro in detail
Light to lift and tiny once folded. ScootaMart's own S-Mart AutoFold Pro is a folding scooter for level, even surfaces, made for people who want something simple to keep in the car or the hall.

Where it is happiest
The AutoFold Pro is at its best indoors and on flat, even paths in dry weather, and it copes with slopes of up to 6 degrees. That covers shopping centres, garden centres, seafront promenades and most town pavements.

Unfolded it measures 970 x 460 x 950 mm, a compact footprint that makes it simple to steer in tight places.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
