Will the Evolite suit you?
The Motion Evolite is a boot scooter for people who want light pieces and no fuss. An aluminium frame and lithium battery keep the weight down. It splits into five parts, the heaviest just 10 kg, and the battery is only 3 kg, light enough to carry indoors for charging. That battery gives up to 9 miles and is a size many airlines accept, but always check with your airline before you book. Large 8 inch wheels, a 250W motor, soft-compound tyres and thick seat padding keep everyday pavements comfortable.
Bring your car and we will load the five pieces into your boot together before you buy. Call ahead so an Evolite is ready to try.

The Evolite in detail
Aluminium frame, lithium battery, very little to lift. Motion brought both weight-saving ideas together in the Evolite, and the result is a boot scooter where no single piece weighs more than 10 kg.

Lifting and loading
Five pieces means five small lifts. With the heaviest at 10 kg and the battery at 3 kg, loading the boot is a job you can take at your own pace, and the battery is easy to bring indoors.
Comfort on the move
Light scooters are not always comfortable ones. The Evolite answers that with large 8 inch wheels, a softer tyre compound that takes the buzz out of rough paving, a wraparound delta handlebar and generous padding in the seat.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
