Will the GoGo Ultra suit you?
The GoGo Ultra is a simple, light scooter for someone whose outings usually start with a car journey. No tools are needed to split it down, and the front section, the heaviest, weighs 15 kg, about a medium suitcase. It carries riders of up to 18 st 12 lb and can cover up to 11.5 miles, which is plenty for shops, garden centres and seafront paths. Plug the charger into the tiller, or lift out the battery box and charge it indoors.

Light, simple and made for the car. Pride designed the GoGo Ultra as a travel scooter that anyone in the family can pack away. It splits down by hand, tops out at 4 mph, and gives a little more legroom than you might expect from something this compact.

Two ways to charge
The charging port is on the tiller, so once you are home you can plug in as easily as you would a phone. If the scooter lives in the car boot, garage or shed, lift the battery box off and charge that on its own indoors.
Controls, wheels and seat
The control panel is lit by LEDs so the important information is clear at a glance, and there is a horn to let people know you are coming. A delta tiller keeps steering light on the hands. The 8 inch wheels have a chunkier build than most in this class for a steadier feel on level ground, and the low-backed seat is thickly padded. Extra bags are available in our showrooms if you need more carrying space.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
