Every new product comes with a 12-month warranty, in addition to your legal rights.

  • If something goes wrong, call us first on 0800 169 1910 and we will advise on the quickest fix.
  • We collect, repair and return it free of charge anywhere in mainland UK. We aim to collect within 7 days.
  • Repair or replacement, whichever puts it right.

Not covered: misuse, accidental damage, water getting in, or repairs attempted by anyone else (a £79 call-out applies to non-warranty visits). A few remote postcodes carry a £79 collection surcharge. The warranty stays with the original buyer.

  • Delivered to the kerbside between 9am and 6pm
  • Left at your door: the courier does not bring it in or assemble it
  • Arrives boxed, ready for you to put together

Smaller items: free delivery on orders over £50, otherwise £3.95. You choose at checkout.

Our own qualified engineers look after what we sell. We recommend a service once a year to catch problems early and keep it running well.

  • At a showroom: drop it in for a full service or a quick check. Collect it when it is ready, or we can bring it back to you.

Who qualifies for VAT relief?

You pay the lower price if both of these are true:

  • the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability, and
  • it is for their own personal or domestic use.

That covers a lasting physical or mental condition that affects everyday life, a condition doctors treat as chronic (such as diabetes or arthritis), or a terminal illness. You do not need to be registered disabled and you do not need a doctor's letter. Being older, or a short-term injury, does not count on its own.

What you do: nothing now. In your cart we ask once, and you complete a short declaration. A family member or carer can do it on someone's behalf.

Will the Alber SMOOV 010 Wheelchair Power Pack suit you?

The SMOOV One is aimed at users of active wheelchairs, rigid or folding, who want powered help without changing their chair. A single drive wheel docks on and pushes you along at a steady speed, up to 10 km/h, while you steer as usual. A small Bluetooth hand control clips to the chair, and both parts undock in moments when you would rather push.

Fitting varies from chair to chair, so call us free on 0800 169 1910 with the make and model of yours. We will check it is suitable and talk through the app settings. A showroom visit can be arranged too.

The Alber SMOOV 010 Wheelchair Power Pack in detail

One drive wheel, one wireless control, and your active chair becomes powered. The SMOOV One, an electric add-on from Alber and Invacare, docks onto most rigid-frame and folding active wheelchairs.

On the move

Because the drive wheel swivels freely, the chair keeps its lively, active feel. It holds its speed and keeps driving over uneven surfaces, which makes parks, towpaths and long pavements more inviting.

Docking and transport

The drive unit and the control both dock and undock easily. Lift the 7.2 kg unit off for the car, or leave it at home on days when you want your chair as it was. It is built to last, and ScootaMart's own engineers look after the 12-month warranty.
