Will the AeroCarbon suit you?
A folding scooter for people who travel: light to lift and small to store. The carbon fibre frame weighs just 13 kg before the battery and armrests go on, and it folds to 69 x 52 x 38 cm, small enough for a modest boot or the bottom of a wardrobe. Many airlines carry its lithium battery, but check with your airline first. Riders up to 19 stone can use it, with up to 9.4 miles a charge, and an NFC tag starts it.
Bring your car and we will fold it and check it fits the boot before you buy. You can practise the fold yourself too. Please call ahead so the model is ready to try.

Carbon fibre, put to practical use. Drive's AeroCarbon folding scooter uses the material to keep the frame strong while taking out the weight, which matters every time it is lifted into a car.

Display and keyless start
An NFC tag starts the scooter, so there is no key to fumble with. The LCD screen shows battery level, remaining range and speed, and it runs its own diagnostics, which helps our engineers if anything ever needs attention.

From the 10 Ah battery you can expect as much as 9.4 miles per charge, with a 4 mph top speed, suited to shopping trips, holidays and days out.

Questions people ask us in the shop
Will it fit in my car?
Bring the car to any showroom and we will try it in the boot with you. We take it apart or fold it together, so you can see how it goes in and feel what each piece weighs before you decide.
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. A 4 mph pavement scooter needs no licence, no tax and no registration. Insurance is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend it.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. Just walk in to any of our 9 North West showrooms, or call first and we will have this model ready for you. If you cannot get to us and you live in the North West, we will bring it to your home for a free demonstration.
What happens if it breaks down?
It comes with a 12-month warranty, looked after by our own engineers. For a warranty repair we collect it and bring it back free of charge across mainland UK. After that, we service and repair at any showroom or at your home.
Can I part exchange my old one?
Yes. Bring your old scooter or powerchair to any showroom and we will value it there and then, with up to £400 off your new one. We can also give a price by phone, confirmed when we see it.
Do I have to pay VAT?
Not if the person it is for has a long-term illness or disability and it is for their own personal use. The price shown already has VAT relief applied. You confirm that you qualify once, with a short declaration in your cart. There is nothing to send to HMRC.
How will it be delivered?
Most people choose engineer delivery for £79: it arrives inspected and assembled, with a full demonstration, and we take the packaging away. Free courier delivery to the kerbside is also available.
