RSA Motability, the commercial insurer for the Motability scheme, which leases scooters, powerchairs and vehicles, has appointed a brand new managing director.
Catherine Frost has been made managing director with immediate effect after stepping up from her stint as interim boss for the Motability division.
The previous managing director, Rob Gibbs, has now moved to head up RSA UK & International’s commercial risk solutions department.
Frost worked in finance and risk positions for 9 years at the company before she joined the mobility department eight years ago, where she was finance director.
Frost stated “I’m excited to be taking over this new leadership role in a business that I do know very well, with groups who genuinely care about our customers and take real pleasure in providing a fantastic service for them.”
Meanwhile, Gibbs stated: “I’m delighted that Cath has accepted this position and I know she will continue to drive the business forward with clients at the heart of our decision-making,” added Gibbs.
“Cath brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this position and I have no doubt that she will be a huge success.”
It’s estimated that RSA has around 600,000 Motability customers and has been working with Motability Operations, which runs the scheme on behalf of the charity, for over 20 years.
