Will the Lightweight Channel Ramp suit you?
Channel ramps suit a wheelchair or scooter user who needs a longer run than a threshold ramp gives, for example into a vehicle. Each channel extends from 920 mm to just over 2.1 metres, so you have a 7 foot ramp when you need it and a short length to store. The wheels travel along two gritted tracks with a lip at each end.

The Lightweight Channel Ramp in detail
Seven feet of ramp that closes down to under one metre. These Aidapt channel ramps are made from anodised aluminium, which keeps them light for their length and very strong. Laid side by side, one under each line of wheels, they give wheelchairs, scooters, walkers and rollators a route into a house or a vehicle.

Carrying and storing
With a net weight of 14.2 kg and a closed size of 920 x 240 x 60 mm, the ramps slide into a boot or stand in a garage between uses. Setting up is simple: extend each channel, rest the top lip on the step or vehicle floor, and space the pair to match the wheels.
